Kodo

Martin Bogren returned to Japan to photograph something close to him, without knowing exactly what. He was searching for calm in a metropolis where it seems almost impossible to find, with the idea that if he could discover it in Tokyo, he might also be able to find it within himself.

It was then that he discovered the Kodo, a trail running through forests and rocks. He wandered there for several days, and this experience became a revelation. After seven days of walking, he returned to Tokyo covered in mud, yet filled with a sense of peace that even a city of thirty million inhabitants could no longer disturb.
